Crisis, what crisis ?

How much are students aware of the growing global crises in areas such as energy, water and food, in addition to the global financial crisis ?
Is this something that needs to worry them ?
How are they personally affected by them: now, and in the future ?
How aware are they of the growing uncertainty in the financial sector, and its possible impact on employment and pensions ?

I am currently involved in preparing some resources on the issues related to some of these FUTURES issues.
