Good to see Noel Jenkins and Juicy Geography mentioned in today's Guardian Education article by Rowenna Davis about the forthcoming National Digital Resource Bank...
As Noel says, it should be more about having access to the new tools (than being able to download second-hand content)...
That's not to say that websites that contain ready made materials don't perform a vital function of course, as the 50 000 odd visitors to GeographyPages every month proves, and this collaboration between the regional grids for learning and local authorities will hopefully result in more innovative practice than some of the earlier attempts to coordinate this.
As the visitor stats to the GeographyTeachingToday website show, teachers still want access to online resources, and they want them fast....
