Going deeper...

One of the big problems with curriculum design is choice... Another is the time that is spent on the areas that have been chosen. A third issue is with the dynamic nature of the subject, and the emerging relationship with technology...
The problem with geography is that it is big....
Reminds me of the classic Douglas Adams quote on Space...

Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the chemist's, but that's just peanuts to space.
